ORDERING GUIDelines

• How do I order my cake online?

Under order online, click on celebration cakes. Pick the size of your cake, quantity, the flavor of cake, buttercream, the color of the design, date of pickup, and time. Add to your cart.

We will send you a reminder of the date and time of your pickup. When you arrive please send a text that you have   arrived. We will deliver your cake to your car.

 

• How far in advance do I need to place my order?
Ordering is open from Sunday to Wednesday to be picked up that week on Friday and Saturday. If you know what   you would like in advanced we recommend ording early as we close off orders when we are booked for the   week.

 

• I need a cake for another day besides Friday or Saturday. Is that possible?

As of right now, we are only offering pickup days for Fridays and Saturdays; however, you can enjoy your cake on     Sunday. Alternativly, you can refrigerate your cake for several days while in the box or freeze your cake. Wrap           the cake box with saranwrap if you plane on keeping it in the freezer for a longer period of time. It will keep up to a   month.

 

• Can I change the order to a custom color or sprinkle mix? 

As of now, the designs cannot be changed. The images will show what you will receive when you order your cake.     Colors may vary a little from the picture based on your computer and browser.

 

• Is it possible to order a gluten-free, vegan, or nut-free cake?

Not at this time. We are unable to accomadate ready made cakes for special deitary needs. 

 

• Can I order a special message to be piped on my cake? 

At this time we don't offer this, however, we do offer a sugar plaque to be placed on the cake.

• Do you offer delivery on your signature cakes?

At this time we do not, only custom orders.

 

• Where do I pickup my cake?

Our cake studio is a home based business. Our address: 248 Drinkward St. NW, Cedar Rapids IA 52405

Click here for the map. You can park along side of the street or driveway if there is room. Once you arrive please text us at 319 - 491 - 1938 to let us know you have arrived. We will bring your cake out to your car.

 

• What is your cancellation policy?

Refunds or resceduling will be given if you cancel within 4 days from your pickup date. Credits or rescheduling will       be given if you cancel 1 to 2 days prior to your pickup date. Friday or Saturday cancelations are not elegible for         refunds, credits or rescheduling.

• Once I get my cake should I refrigerate it or leave it out?

You can leave your cake in the box if you are not serving it right away. Your cake can sit out whether in the box or not for two days, otherwise it should be refrigerated if your event is longer than two days. You can also freeze your cake if you need to. Wrap the cake box in saranwrap and place it your freezer. It will keep up to a month. Take out your cake the day before to allow it to defrost.
