I love being apart of my client's special day! I look forward to seeing my clients tasting a piece of cake and discussing what their favorite flavor is or designs and colors that they are attracted to. The process very special.


Taking details and incorporating them into a very special dessert that reflects a couple's style, a personal hobby or personal taste is very rewarding! 

I am a cake designer and sugar artist with a background in fine art and graphic design. I got my start working at Toni Patisserie in Chicago. Several years later, while working at The Hotel at Kirkwood Center in Cedar Rapids, I was offered the position of the cake designer.


In 2016 I began teaching Basic, Advanced and Wedding Cake Design for the Baking and Pasty Program at Kirkwood Community College. 


In 2018 I opened Sugar Flower Cake Design, specializing in custom-designed cakes for private clientele.
